Namaste Pay, a mobile wallet from Nepal Telecom, is now available for both online and offline payment

Namaste Pay, Nepal Telecom's digital payment service, has finally launched. Namaste Pay is a mobile money service created with a capital of 1 billion(NPR) by Nepal Telecom and Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB). This digital payment app is the largest payment wallet of Rs. 400 million, run by the government.

Namaste Pay is Nepal's first mobile wallet that operates offline. It means that the user is not required to have an internet connection in order to make digital payments. Namaste Pay uses the USSD channel for offline payments, which has a quick response time. Users can then conduct offline transactions by entering the USSD code. This option is also far more secure than SMS. It will also make such payments more accessible to non-smartphone users and the digitally illiterate. For offline users, it is accessible after dialing *500# from the phone. Similarly, for online users, we can download and install the mobile app from the Google Play store.

Bank Account Integration: 

Option of over 9+ banks and growing. For loading money to wallet or sending money from the wallet to bank account.

Cash-In: 

Load your wallet directly through mobile banking, debit card/credit card, or through our authorized agent.

Cash-Out: 

Quick transfer the wallet money to your bank account or convert your wallet balance to cash in your pocket through a nearby agent.

Wallet to wallet transfer:

Now you can send money fast and easily to other wallets. It's never been easier to send/receive money to friends and family.

Utility Payment:

Telecom service top-up or internet bill payment in just a few clicks.
