What is CRN (C-ASBA Registration Number)

It's a unique number given to you by a bank after you open a Dmat Account at Bank or Capital, which connects your bank account to your stock market account. Your investment is reserved by the bank from this CRN Number when you apply for an IPO, and after you are assigned a share, your applied amount will be withdrawn, and if you are not allotted, your block amount will be released. And, while your firm is giving you a bonus (cash dividend), it will be paid into your bank account using your CRN Number, which acts as a link between the bank and the share capital ( Stock Market).

Steps to get CRN Number Online

1. Go to your Mero Share Portal and log in.
2. From the left-hand menu, select the 'My Bank Request' option.
3. Right-click on your window and select 'Inspect' from the drop-down menu.
4. Choose 'Network' and then 'XHR' from the drop-down menu.
5. To see different details, refresh your Mero Share Dashboard. Take a look at the final few options.
6. Your CRN number can be found in the last few options.
